We currently have one opportunity:

Financial Controller (Part-time)

As our Financial Controller, you will contribute to C.A.R.E.’s mission and vision by providing professional financial support and expertise to the Executive Director and Board of Directors.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will oversee the financial operations of the agency including payroll; ensure compliance with auditing and regulatory bodies’ requirements; and report and forecast on financial targets and budget requirements for the agency and our funders.

Education:

  • ­Related Business administration diploma/degree or equivalencies.
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation with NPO experience strongly preferred.

Experience:

  • 5 to 8 years directly related experience in a similar role

Competencies:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting and planning
  • Exceptional communication, teamwork and coaching skills
  • High degree of competency with SAGE 50 and Microsoft Office suite of products
