Currently we have one employment opportunity:

C.A.R.E. is seeking a part-time English as a Second Language Instructor to start January 8th, 2018. It will be for 9 – 15 hours/week for an early afternoon LINC class that will run 12:30-3:00pm, and will have the potential to turn into a full time position for the right candidate.

Required qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, and eligibility for TESL Canada Standard 1.  Some equivalencies may be considered.

Preference will be given to instructors with experience and background in intercultural communication, settlement, adult education, adult literacy, special needs, or an additional language. Familiarity with Portfolio-Based Language Assessment and the Canadian Language Benchmarks are significant assets.
