C.A.R.E. is seeking an Executive Director
“This person will be the Face of C.A.R.E. in our Community”
For 32+ years we have assisted new refugees/immigrants with services in Central Alberta
Required Qualities:
- Strong human resource/operational skills
- Knowledge/experience and sensitivity to cultural diversity and immigrant serving field
- A vision for ongoing and future needs of the immigrant population of Central Alberta
- Support, encourage & elevate the skills and abilities of our 35+ dedicated staff
- Knowledge of management principles related to the non-profit volunteer sector
- Oversee the financial planning/management of the organization
- High standards of ethical conduct
- Clear understanding of board governance
- Strong networking skills
- Able to secure ongoing funding through government/private sector grant writing
- Proven strategic planning skills
Anticipated start date of April 1, 2014
