June 18: – Cultural Café on June 18th at the Museum from 6.30 P.M – 8.30 P.M. Confirmed Speakers Martha Cortes and Ethel Suarez will tell their refugee stories
June 20: Open House at CAIWA with discussions, tours, displays, food all from different countries from 10:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.
June 20th – Veteran Park Event from 11.30 A.M. – 2.30 P.M. with Speakers Monybany Dau, and Masoumeh Mohammadi introduced by MLA Mary Anne Jablonski, Samasana Choir, Drummer Carlos Copoban, Henna Tattoo artists, Displays
June 20th At the HUB (4536 Ross St) from 3:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M., “Table Talk” with 5 former refugees facilitating the discussions. Remza, Elzbieta, Raad, Ayam, Asma. Join us to join discussions to help dispel myths and misconceptions about refugees.
