For 32+ years we have assisted new refugees/immigrants with services in Central Alberta

Required Qualities:

  • Strong human resource/operational skills
  • Knowledge/experience and sensitivity to cultural diversity and immigrant serving field
  • A vision for ongoing and future needs of the immigrant population of Central Alberta
  • Support, encourage & elevate the skills and abilities of our 35+ dedicated staff
  • Knowledge of management principles related to the non-profit volunteer sector
  • Oversee the financial planning/management of the organization
  • High standards of ethical conduct
  • Clear understanding of board governance
  • Strong networking skills
  • Able to secure ongoing funding through government/private sector grant writing
  • Proven strategic planning skills

Anticipated start date of April 1, 2014
